Bay Area Baby Nurse Comprehensive Sleep Training

Bay Area Baby Nurse Comprehensive Sleep Training

Nothing is more fascinating and heart touching than watching a newborn baby sleep, if you are blessed with a baby you can rejoice as you are going to enjoy that feeling a lot, but not the way you always imagined it! . Newborn babies sleeping habits are very unusual, especially in the first 4 or 5 weeks. Newborn babies sleep for about 16 to 20 hours but in short spans. A newborn baby sleep would usually last for 4 straight hours whether it is day or night. This is no mystery; newborns don’t know the difference between day and night just yet. This means you are going to get a lot of sleepless nights in the first few months. This is where we can help. With our night care services, the baby will be taken care of. And the parents can catch up on that much needed rest so that they can carry on the following day. Parents then will enjoy their baby all day long, knowing that at night, they can rest while their baby is very well taken care off. With proper care, most new born babies develop a regular sleep pattern and would sleep through the whole night in about six to eight weeks. But the most important thing here is how are we going to help the newborn settle into a regular sleep pattern? This could be a challenge for most parents, especially if this is your first baby.

As an experienced newborn baby sleep consultant and a postpartum doula , I can help make your experience of having a newborn baby truly unforgettable and amazing. A postpartum doula or a sleep consultant is not a trained medical nurse. But we bring you years of experience and expertise in setting the sleep pattern for your newborn baby. A competent Newborn baby sleep consultant can make your infant learn that the day time is the fun time when all the good things are going to happen but the night time is sleeping time. A postpartum doula would not only help your newborn baby sleep but would also bring much needed support to the mother. She would help her recover from the after delivery physical and emotional stress and trauma, the new mother would enjoy a sound sleep while the postpartum doula would look after the newborn baby.
